How Access Control works
Once the access control system is in place, every doors on the system automatically locks as soon as the door closes and unlocks when the correct access token is presented (or a PIN number if you prefer). Where necessary, you can have doors unlocked automatically for specific times.
Where there are particularly sensitive areas to a building, access can be granted to only certain staff. Once access control is installed, this is a simple solution to letting all staff in and out through the main door of a building, only allowing permitted persons into the cash room for instance. You can also restrict users by time frame, so only certain staff can enter the building out of hours for example. This is especially usefull in hospitals, where there are a lot of sensitive areas, restricting access to the pharmecutical stores to authorised staff is a prime example of access control in action.
Our range of access control system components include secure coded keypads, card & tag swip-tokens, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) smart cards, as well as biometric technology (finger-print and palm-vein readers). We can design and install a system to any size, from a single single door to a multi-site on-line system; either as a discreet installation or part of a wider system, integrated with other systems and even pigging-backing on existing computer networks.
We are registered dealers for many of the world-leading manufactures of access control components, including; Honeywell, Paxton, Nortech, and Salto
