Inert Gas Fire Suppression |
The design of a system such as this is based on the principal that by lowering the oxygen level to below 15%, fire will be suppressed. In past projects across Brighton we have used Argon, Nitrogen and in some cases a small
amount of
C02 to displace oxygen levels in a room. |

Further notes on Inert Gas Fire Suppression and our services: |
Speed of discharge: Inert gas fire suppression is generally slower than chemical solutions, able to discharge it's payload within 1 to 2 minutes. |
Required provisions: When applying an Inert Gas Suppression system you will require pressure relief venting. |
What are Inert Gases? Inert gases are what we call 'naturally occuring gases', they surround us and the air we breathe in daily is filled with them. We harness these gases to help reduce Oxygen levels and stop fire. |
Knowledgable and experienced installation: We are BAFE accredited and work closely with class leading manufacturers to provide the latest technology and the most up-to-date support available. |
