AMFS completes River Beach Project

River Beach Primary School Littlehampton’s newest state school for boys and girls aged from 3 to 11school is now completed and has opened its doors and welcomed pupils. River Beach has been formed after amalgamating with Elm Grove Infant School, Arun Vale Infant School and Connaught Junior School.

The main contractor Willmott Dixon constructed a new steel framed school building and carried out extensive refurbishment works to the existing buildings classrooms, group rooms, food technology room and toilets.

AMFS worked closely with DES Electrical Contractors Ltd to provide the Security and Fire systems at the new school, the technically difficult project required new security and fire systems whilst maintaining existing protection in the 3 schools which were amalgamated as part of a phased construction program.

The 90K project was delivered on time.
